Meet Cooper

COOPER:  Shetland pony gelding.  Cooper was purchased from two Amish boys downstate who rode/drove him to school every day.  Kimberly fell in love with him at first sight and enthusiastically bid on him at an auction much to the amusement of seasoned, quiet bidders…He loves to pull his two wheel cart and trail ride.  He has participated in the NW MI Fair and laps the big draft horses in the ring…. He is ridden this year by Beverly Sutherland.

Stormy

Meet Stormy:

STORMY:  ½ Mustang; ½ Haflinger gelding.  11 years old.  Stormy is a gentle giant and loves water (we turn the hose on him in summer months and he loves to splash and play in rivers versus crossing them…)  This year Stormy will be ridden by Stella Sterling and Sage Rancour.  His only fault is a propensity to buck (for fun) so riders must have secure seats….

Meet Moose

Moose is our newest member to the club.  He is a 20 year old gelding that we adopted from Horse North Rescue in January 2013.

MOOSE:  Was adopted by the 4-H club in January 2013.  He is an appendix quarter horse gelding, age 20.  He was trained for mounted police by his former owner and is very quiet and gentle.  He has been in parades and will participate this year in horse shows and the NW MI Fair.  We already love him!
